Chat-to-Search is a multimodal AI search tool that helps customers find what they need through a simple, chat-like interface. It goes beyond traditional search by analyzing both text and images, ensuring all your products are found - even when descriptions are incomplete or when the visual details (like fashion styles or colors) are missing.

How does it work?
STEP 1
The user initiates a search through a chat-based interface, making inquiries in natural language about specific items
STEP 2
The LLM processes the user's input to extract key details, identifying elements such as product type and specific features
STEP 3
LLM extracts product filters (price, brand or size) and generates a semantic query. This query is then transformed into a vector by Velebit AI's machine learning model.
STEP 4
The search is performed by a multimodal model that processes both images and text using a vector database, while also integrating product filters into the search process.
STEP 5
The result is a list of e-commerce items that users can choose from to purchase an item immediately or refine their search further in the chat.
