How we price our AI products

Our AI solutions for e-commerce vary in price depending on several factors. We offer two off-the-shelf products: Color Detection and Fabric Pattern Detection APIs - which are available to try and immediately purchase. You'll find pricing directly on their product pages.

For other solutions, we need to assess your product inventory and the number of items, the quality and volume of your data and the integration process. While our models are ready for deployment, we'll fine-tune them to your specific data to ensure seamless performance. This means deployment can take anywhere from days to weeks.

How we price custom AI solutions

At Velebit AI, we offer flexible, custom AI solutions designed to fit your business needs. Since each project is unique, our pricing is tailored based on your requirements, project scope and its complexity.

Given that our projects always involve extensive research and development and that the scope often evolves as we progress, we use a Time & Materials contract. This model is ideal for dynamic projects where requirements may change or emerge over time. It provides the flexibility to adapt to new insights and ensures we can deliver the highest value to your business throughout the project lifecycle.

Initial consultation

We begin with a conversation to understand your business goals and the scope of your AI project
Defining the pricing structure

Based on your project's requirements, we'll discuss the Time and Materials pricing model, which gives you flexibility as the project evolves
Project proposal

After agreeing on the structure, we provide a detailed proposal, including estimated hours, resources and milestones
Signing the contract

Once you're comfortable with the proposal, we finalize the contract and begin working on your project

Why Time and Materials?

Since most AI projects have evolving requirements or iterative development, we use a Time and Materials model. This approach ensures you pay for the actual work done, allowing for flexibility during the project and adjustments as needed.

Factors that impact AI project pricing

Domain complexity: Onboarding into each specific domain of human knowledge takes time. While we’re highly experienced in onboarding quickly, domain-specific understanding is still a factor that can influence timelines and costs.
Scope and scale: The size and complexity of the solution directly impact timelines and resources - larger systems typically mean longer development and integration.
Data quality: Clean, well-labeled, and organized data is critical. We’ll assess together whether your data meets these standards or if additional collection, cleaning, or annotation is needed.
Infrastructure and computing resources: We offer access to our in-house hardware at no extra charge, but for resource-heavy projects, additional infrastructure may be required.
